We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations in a restaurant environment. As a Grill Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including cooking equipment and utensils.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or functions as required.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred, particularly in food preparation or cooking roles.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting are important for success in this role.
