Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in full service restaurant and catering environments. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes while ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. This role requires excellent team management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook grilled items according to menu specifications and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food production. Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and special events, including banquets and catering services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas. Assist in shift management, ensuring smooth operations during peak hours. Uphold quality standards for food presentation and taste, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.

Experience

Proven experience as a Grill Cook or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in culinary arts, with fine dining experience preferred. Familiarity with dietary department practices and food service management principles. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing team dynamics effectively. Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and inventory management practices is essential. Previous experience in restaurant management or catering is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking, hospitality, and delivering outstanding service to guests.
