Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring they are cooked to perfection and served promptly. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in meal preparation. Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill area and kitchen equipment. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Participate in menu planning and development by providing input based on cooking trends and customer preferences.

Experience

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on grilling techniques and meal preparation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or serving is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
