Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ground workers to join our ever growing construction company. You will play a key role within the groundworks team and complete work to a high standard. You will be required to undertake all aspects of groundworks including drainage (domestic and commercial), kerbing, concreting and excavation.

A sound knowledge and good experience is essential for this role including the ability to read and work from site plans and drawings with the ability to liaise confidently with site managers and other contractors. This role involves both manual labour and the safe operation of plant and tools ( where qualified to do so).

Due to the physically demanding nature of this role please only apply if you have the required experience and physical fitness to carry out this role to a high standard.

The role is primarily working in Hull and surrounding areas but on occasion working away is essential which may require ongoing overnight stays ( this will be discussed with the employer prior).

This role is being offered on a self employed basis 15.50 to 20 per hour depending on experience and tickets held

Hours to be discussed with employer (may include weekends and/or work away when required)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

carry out all aspects of groundworks ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times work well in a team as well and on own operate plant machinery to a safe standard communicate effectively with management and contractors be able to read and follow CAD drawings

Role Requirements

Previous experience essential ( minimum of 3 years) CSCS card Full UK driving license CPCS or NPORS plant tickets for relevant machinery ( dumper, roller, 360 excavator) NRSWA / Street works tickets is a plus CIS registered is a must
