AAA Building and Civil Engineers Ltd are seeking CIS registered skilled ground workers to join our growing team. Primarily based in Kent you will join a civil engineering gang covering work streams across Kent and Sussex.
The successful candidate will carry out a range of groundwork duties, supporting site operations and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and clearing construction sites
Excavating trenches and foundations
Assisting with installation of drainage, ducting, utilities, and pipework
Mixing and laying concrete, foundations, and other materials
Laying kerbs, paving, edging, and general hard landscaping
Operating hand tools and small plant where trained
Following site plans and instructions from supervisors
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years previous experience as a Ground Worker on UK construction sites
Strong practical skills and ability to work outdoors in all weather
Competent with hand tools and small machinery
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
Required Qualifications
CSCS card (essential)
NVQ L1 (essential)
CPCS/NPORS tickets for plant machinery (desired)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Experience in drainage, concreting, or utilities work
