Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction and landscaping projects. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for ensuring that all groundwork is completed to the highest standards, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Duties

Prepare and maintain construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other essential groundwork tasks. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols. Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

Previous experience in groundwork or a related field is preferred but not essential. Must hold valid CSCS Card. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A proactive approach to health and safety practices on site. Must have a valid driving license.

Pay: 16.00-19.00 per hour
