Summary



We are seeking a proactive and organised Contracts Manager to take ownership of operations across West Devon and Cornwall. This role combines leadership, logistics and contract management with a portfolio of industry leading clients, ensuring teams deliver efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

You'll lead by example, supporting your teams to achieve their best while keeping an eye on regional performance, safety, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities



As Contracts Manager, you'll focus on eight core areas of accountability: Regional Leadership & Team Management - Lead, motivate, and develop your teams, addressing performance issues promptly and fostering strong communication and engagement. Operational Planning & Logistics - Manage resources, materials, and equipment to ensure teams are well-equipped and downtime is kept to a minimum. Contract Management - Oversee all regional contracts, ensuring smooth communication between clients, colleagues, and contractors, with multiple contracts delivered on time and to budget. Financial Accountability - Take responsibility for regional budgets, debt management, and performance, ensuring efficient use of company resources. Health & Safety Leadership - Promote a positive safety culture across the region, ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and complete required H&S documentation. Quality & Continuous Improvement - Maintain ISO 9001 standards and seek ongoing improvement in service delivery, horticultural development and client satisfaction. Regional Growth & Development - Identify opportunities for business growth and support the Head of Department in building strong client relationships and expanding the regional order book. 8. About You



You'll bring: Minimum 3 years' management experience (ideally within landscaping, construction, or logistics) Excellent people management and communication skills Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and logistics Full UK driving licence (essential)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

A genuine interest in landscaping and horticulture
