Grounds Maintenance Manager

to lead our team and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all aspects of grounds maintenance operations, including scheduling, staffing, and equipment management. Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of grounds staff, ensuring high standards of work and compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures for various outdoor spaces, including care homes and hospitality buildings. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction with service delivery. Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and inventory of tools, machinery, and supplies. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and identify areas for improvement. Report on performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement strategies.

Requirements:

Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of horticulture, groundskeeping practices, and use of related equipment. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in horticulture, landscaping, or grounds maintenance. Experience with scheduling software and maintenance reporting tools.

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
