We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of our outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks that ensure the grounds are well-kept, safe, and visually appealing. A strong understanding of landscape maintenance and the ability to operate various tools are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Working on Roadside verges, Public footpath and bridleways Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for various groundskeeping tasks. Operation of Compact tractors with various cutting equipment Dig and prepare areas for planting or installation of irrigation systems. Maintain equipment in good working order through routine checks and minor repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Driving Licence full UK

Requirements

Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools effectively. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks. Familiarity with gardening techniques and plant care is advantageous. Capability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labour as required. A valid driving licence may be required for transporting equipment or materials on site. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
