Job Description

J / Specification:

The Commercial Landscaping Division of The TP Group offers a wide range of services, from the delivery of large multi-phase installations to smaller, more bespoke projects, most of which incorporate soft landscaping works and ongoing grounds maintenance following the completion of the main contract.

Key requirements and tasks:

Soft landscaping skills of a high standard (planting, turfing etc).

Experience with the use of machinery (hedge cutters, strimmer's, rotary lawn mowers) etc.

Vast Experience in grounds maintenance essential. PA1/PA6 and experience of ride on mowers desirable.

Candidates should reside within a reasonable travelling distance of our premises in Chelmsford, Essex.

Sole working is required for many of our contracts; therefore, candidates should possess the confidence to work individually using their own initiative.

Some out of hours working, including nights and weekends will be required.

Completion of daily record paperwork, including highlighting any future requirements.

Ensuring works vehicle is kept in good order and all equipment is present and operational.

Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.

Good people skills.

Experience required:

A minimum of 10 years previous employment within the soft landscaping / grounds maintenance industry.

Qualifications required:

Current driving license.

CSCS card. - preferable but not essential.

NQV level 4/5 or RHS Qualification or City and guilds in Horticulture.

PA1/PA6 - preferable but not essential.

Attitude and skills:

Hardworking & Reliable.

Complete tasks with a high attention to detail.

Able to plan works methodically, using own initiative.

Starting Salary:

On site hours Mon - Fri, 8am - 4pm.

28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays).

Overtime rates will apply for night & weekend working.

Company uniform & all PPE supplied.

Pay: Up to 130.00 per day
