WHATSAPP CALL or TEXT +44 7894 169 991 - We are seeking a hard working individual with a driving license (ideally C1) who is willing to learn or build upon their groundskeeping skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the outdoors and an understanding grounds maintenance. This role involves maintaining large gardens across Hampshire and Wiltshire and Dorset, using both hand and power tools, and ensuring the overall health and aesthetics of commercial and residential outdoor spaces. The Gardener will play a crucial role in creating beautiful landscapes while promoting safe working practices. A polite, honest and hard working candidate with a desire to learn will not be overlooked, however any previous understanding and licensing/ tickets in the industry will be appreciated.

Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance of gardens, including planting, weeding, pruning, and mulching and the plant/flower/shrub maintenance in beds. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various gardening tasks. Conduct groundskeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and organisation of outdoor areas. Collaborate with/ Instruct other team members and clients to achieve gardening goals and maintain high standards of landscape care.

Requirements

A great attitude towards working in the outdoors in all weather. Being able to work safely and efficiently on your own when necessary. Proven experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers is essential. Ability to use hand tools efficiently for various gardening tasks is preferred. An understanding of plants and weeds. Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions. A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality garden aesthetics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
