Key Responsibilities

Carry out wide range of manual landscaping duties which may include but are not limited to the following: grass cutting, strimming, weeding, tree works, shrubs and seasonal bedding, sports pitch maintenance, fencing, gritting etc. Other duties may include installation of slabs, artificial grass, turf, sleepers and sports pitches. Carry out routine checks on equipment and machinery Ensure Health & Safety rules are being followed Ensure Risk Assessments/Method Statements/COSHH assessments are being adhered to Ensure the correct PPE is worn or used and is kept in good condition Market and represent the company in a positive manner Adopt a proactive approach Must be capable to multi-tasking Attend training courses as and when required.

Essential

Capable of working with minimum supervision Ability to carry out physical work Ability to use a wide range of power tools and to operate many different types of plant Ability to meet deadlines Good communication skills Good attendance and time management skills Ability to complete paperwork and records Driving licence

Desirable

CSCS Trailer licence Spray ticket Chainsaw ticket

Experience

Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with garden care techniques and plant knowledge is beneficial. Proven ability to operate various power tools safely with mechanical knowledge being an advantage. Strong physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail
