we are hiring 2 grounds maintenance operatives preferably on a self employed basis to cover grounds maintenance duties and spray weeds mainly with a purpose built spraying quad

Responsibilities:

Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns shrub bed maintenance in gardens and landscaped areas Use power tools such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers, pressure washers to maintain the grounds Utilize hand tools for tasks such as pruning, weeding, and raking High standard of finish & an eye for detail Adhere to company standards such as risk assessments & COSHH, health & safety etc Keep company vehicles & tools clean and tidy

Qualifications:

Previous experience in garden or groundskeeping work preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions Basic mechanical knowledge for the maintenance of equipment Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices Proficiency in using power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers Skill in using hand tools for tasks such as pruning, weeding, and raking Driving license required preferably 7.5 ton class C1 or class 2 PA1/PA6 weed spraying qualification is desired but not essential CSR card desired but not essential Previous experience in driving quads for weed spraying along road sides

Description of works:

We are a small family run business based in Cookstown & provide a grounds maintenance service across Northern Ireland to various commercial and private sites. Job duty's will mainly be grass cutting, strimming, blowing and collection of debris, litter lifting, pressure washing, Quad weed spraying etc we also provide winter gritting service in winter. wages will be negotiable depending on experience
