The Role

We are looking for a motivated Ground Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Penrith area. You will lead a small team of grounds maintenance staff, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, support, and motivate a team of grounds maintenance operatives Plan and organise daily and weekly work schedules Ensure all work is carried out safely, on time, and to company standards Carry out quality inspections and provide feedback to staff Liaise with clients to address queries or site requirements Maintain accurate records, including timesheets and work reports Ensure team compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

? Essential:

Proven experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture Previous supervisory or team leader experience Strong organisational and leadership skills Good communication skills, both with clients and staff Full UK driving licence
? Desirable:

NPTC / City & Guilds qualifications in horticulture or grounds maintenance

First Aid at Work certificate Knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance Experience with contract-based work or commercial grounds
