Team Leader,

We have the opportunity to recruit for a highly motivated, confident individual to take the lead team Leader position in managing our ever growing team in the midlands.

The successful candidate will be suitably experienced and be a multi-qualified individual.

The successful applicant will integrate into our team, carrying out maintenance of grounds and gardens and may be required to landscape constructions as well as looking after a variety of clients' gardens on commercial sites.

We are looking for someone who has experience in managing a team and supporting staff members to ensure that training and day to day tasks are completed to our high Arccas standards. You will be working along side our director of midlands operations on a day to day basis.

You must be highly self-motivated, physically fit, reliable and able to work flexible hours to meet business demands especially in spring and summer. You will need excellent communication skills and be approachable as you will be interacting with our clients on a day to day basis. You should work with diligence and have a keen interest to promote the business wherever possible.

A passion for horticulture, backed up by good knowledge of how to care for and seasonally maintain plants and shrubs to a high standard which compliments their natural growth habit. A keen interest in ecology would be highly desirable as we work towards expanding the business and supporting a more eco based culture.

Qualifications:

RHS level 2 qualification or higher are preferable but more importantly a good level of experience and the ability to demonstrate sound knowledge are acceptable and have confidence to use a range of power tools and ride on lawn mower.

Diploma level 5 in management would be preferred, however not essential if you can demonstrate the skills needed to support and lead a team.

A chainsaw license and PA1/PA6 spraying certificate is also desirable, although not essential.

We are a friendly team with a relaxed atmosphere but always work incredibly hard and support each other to ensure we maintain a high standard of our work.

Function Role and Purpose



To help build new gardens and maintain the grounds and gardens on various sites, working independently as well as leading and supporting a team. You should be experienced in horticultural practices, able to operate a variety of equipment and have a strong horticultural knowledge with the ability to transfer this knowledge to team members effectively.

The successful candidate will have a high level of responsibility and must be able to use their own initiative to ensure the schedule is completed. The ability to communicate well with, supervise and lead others is imperative to ensure we continue our high standards.

You must have a documented track record of capability to work effectively in large & small gardens to a high standard and provide photographic evidence of landscaping projects completed. Testimonials from clients is also desirable.

Pay: 27,500.00-32,000.00 per year
