Assist with the maintain and up keep of pitches at the Eco-Power Stadium and Club Doncaster Elite Performance Centre.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with required pitch maintenance duties; mowing, scarification, aeration, fertilisation, spraying, marking out to the required standards of the Head Groundsperson.
Ensure all goals and pitch equipment is maintained and safe for players use.
Ensure all health and safety legislation is followed.
Ensure all playing surfaces are safe to use before daily sessions.
Carry out day-to-day machinery checks.
Ensure playing surfaces are prepared to a high standard.
Safely use and operate equipment and machinery.
Inform the Head Groundsperson, and where instructed, take corrective action on mechanical defects or breakdown of equipment.
Assist with keeping the yard and workshop tidy and safe.
When dealing with customers/clients/public uphold high standards of customer care and attention at all times promoting the image of the Company.
Maintain general upkeep of the site including, but not limited to, verges, hedges and other off-pitch areas.
Assist with preparing pitches for matchdays and training sessions.
Perform irrigation requirements and carry out routine maintenance on sprinklers and the system.

Devote full attention and ability to fulfilment of the duties required by the role.
To work closely with, maintain good relationships, and collaborative working practices
To work with colleagues throughout Club Doncaster to extend knowledge and skills in order to identify and develop best practice.
To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.
To maintain the quality of service provision, regularly evaluating work and seeking to make improvements
Present a professional image when dealing with both internal and external contacts and partners, acting in a professional manner at all times.
To cover as and when required at other departments within the Club Doncaster Group
