The role



Fortem Solutions are currently recruiting for a Groundworker to join our Amplius Housing contract on a permanent basis, covering areas from Rushden, Northamptonhire to Peterborough and St Neots and surrounding area so travel is essential Core hours Mon-Fri 8.00am- 4.30pm Van and Fuel card provided! The role involves carrying out all aspects of general Groundwork which includes Fencing, slabbing and landscaping.

The Customer



Fortem's successful contract with Amplius supports nearly 8,000 houses, and we're expecting that to increase significantly in 2025. Our contract includes Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Complex Works and FRA workstreams with Planned Works and Preventative Maintenance as well.

Duties and Responsibilities



Groundworker responsibilities will include: o Carry out general groundwork and laying slabs o Collect and dispose of rubbish from external areas o Provide excellent customer service to tenants o Follow all health and safety procedures while on site o Accurately log work completed and updates using an electronic device

What you will need



Essential: o NVQ/qualifications in relation to relevant trade or equivalent, Qualified by experience will be considered Full, driving licence (max 5 points) Desirable but not essential: o Social housing experience
