Job Summary

New Dimension Builders are looking for a hardworking Groundwork Assistant / Skilled Labourer to join our friendly team. You'll need a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a proactive attitude. This hands-on role supports efficient, high-quality project delivery. You'll work outdoors in all weather, collaborate with the team, and communicate respectfully with clients and contractors on site.

Key Duties

Perform general labouring: lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Groundworks: digging, backfilling, reinstating surfaces, breaking out. Skills in bricklaying, concreting, drainage, paving, trenching, pointing are a plus. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Follow supervisor instructions and collaborate to meet deadlines. Keep work areas clean and tools maintained. Always follow health and safety procedures on site.

Experience & Skills

Previous experience preferred but not essential - full training provided. Knowledge of construction or manual work is helpful. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Physically fit with strong manual skills. Good communication, both verbal and written. Problem-solving mindset. A valid driver's licence would be beneficial but not mandatory. Applicants must have own transport as there are no local public transport links nearby.
