Job Description
Our company is in need of a Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of working outdoors, good communication skills and is focused on quality workmanship. The Groundworker will be responsible for a variety of things, including digging trenches, laying pipe lines, and delivering materials. We are interested in hiring individuals who are passionate about their work and can multitask effectively. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an experienced team.
Responsibilities:
Transport excavated materials over short distances.
Use a shovel to mix concrete, spread gravel and perform other tasks.
Maintain the safety of construction workers on site by following safety protocols.
Operate a variety of construction vehicles.
Assist laborers in digging trenches and preparing foundations for buildings, roads etc.
Perform basic land grading operations.
Construct drainage systems.
Perform manual labor to assist in the construction of roads, buildings, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 18.00-22.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
Luton LU2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
CSCS (preferred)
Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
