The Role

We are seeking a

Groundworker / Builder

who will be responsible for site preparation, excavation, foundations, drainage, and the general construction of home extensions. This role requires a professional who takes pride in their work, is adaptable to challenges on-site, and can ensure that projects are completed to consistent high standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare sites for construction, including groundwork, excavation, and foundations. Build construction tasks for home extensions and alterations, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Collaborate with other trades and using your own initiative to ensure the job gets done. Understand and apply building regulations, health and safety standards on-site. Represent TPD well when dealing with customers.

Schedule

Monday to Friday With the opportunity of overtime.

Work Location

On-site in various locations across the region.

Requirements

Position Requirements

Extensive experience in general building and groundwork (home extensions preferred). Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications. Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing site conditions. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Building and groundwork:

3 years minimum (essential)

Licences & Certifications

Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
