Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. We are based in Loughton, Essex and most of our work is in the local area but might extend to the wider Essex area and Hertfordshire. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. We are currently looking for someone to work on a forestry project in Chingford for 6 weeks, but there is the opportunity to move on to other projects afterwards.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of sites for construction projects Experience driving a skidsteer is preferable Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively Perform tasks such as digging, trenching, and laying foundations Ensure the site is kept clean and organised at all times Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly

Requirements

Ability to operate machinery and tools safely Experience driving a skidsteer preferable Blue card CSCS Dumper ticket Roller ticket Experience in forestry work beneficial Valid driver's licence is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: 190.00 per day
