Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworks labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various groundwork tasks, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and teamwork, as well as the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

Carry out groundwork activities including digging, trenching, and laying foundations. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Assist in the installation of drainage systems and other utilities. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification. Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in groundwork or construction is preferred but not essential. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong physical fitness and stamina, with the capability to lift heavy materials when necessary. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory. Commitment to following safety protocols at all times. Valid, in date CSCS card is mandatory. Immediate start available.

Pay: 13.00-18.00 per hour
