Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworks labourer to join our team. The Groundworker will play a crucial role in various construction and landscaping projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

Carry out excavation and ground preparation tasks for construction projects. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other essential groundwork elements. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organised worksite by removing debris and ensuring all materials are stored correctly. Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to promote a safe working environment. Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.

Skills

Experience in groundworks or related fields is advantageous but not essential. Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks. Ability to operate basic construction tools and machinery safely. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship. Understanding of health and safety practices in construction environments is beneficial.
