Job Summary


To provide quality support, training, and assessment to groundworker apprentices within our business. Uphold and develop the company policies and procedures to ensure Apprentices are given the support and guidance to achieve their apprenticeship within the required timescale. The postholder will be required to provide excellent delivery of provision to all learners on our programmes.

Duties



Provide teaching, learning and assessment to at least a good standard on curriculum programmes appropriate to qualifications, experience and expertise. Assist with the provision of educational advice and guidance to students, including that provided through individual learning plans. Compile lesson plans and schemes of work as required. Prepare high-quality learning materials and student assignments. Devise and deliver high quality programmes of learning and evaluate their effectiveness. Complete formative and summative assessments, both in centre and on site of students' learning, including the marking to a high standard of student work and, where appropriate, examinations. Manage and supervise student visit programmes and other forms of learning activity. Contribute to the review and development of curriculum programmes and resources and share good practice in teaching and learning. Furthermore, where appropriate, work with employers in the development of provision. Participate in team meetings and appropriate professional development activity. Contribute to the analysis and evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of provision at the course level, including self-assessment and associated action planning. Any other duties, as required, appropriate to the grade of the post.

Deliver of units/modules across the department's construction provision To support delivery, recruitment and monitoring across the department. Keep updated with sector developments and industry knowledge Provide classroom cover when required.

Pay: Up to 35,000.00 per year
