Confidential Finance Reporting Lead (IFRS) - Midlands / Hybrid
We're supporting a well-established international engineering and manufacturing group with the appointment of a senior finance professional into a key UK reporting and governance role.
This opportunity is particularly well suited to an ACA-qualified candidate from practice, looking to make a first or second move into industry within a structured, internationally connected finance environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting into senior leadership, you will act as the technical reporting lead for a UK site and finance team, with responsibility for:
Monthly and annual group reporting under IFRS
Liaising internationally on intercompany and central reporting requirements
Leading local statutory reporting and audit processes
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and governance standards
Ownership of the general ledger (assets, inventory, accruals, provisions, reconciliations)
Supporting AP/AR activities and wider finance operations
Working with ERP structures and finance systems (SAP desirable)
About You
Professionally qualified (ACA ideal, ACCA/CIMA also considered)
Strong grounding in financial reporting, audit, and IFRS
Background in practice is highly advantageous (Top 10 / audit-trained profiles encouraged)
Comfortable working in an international group setting
ERP exposure preferred (SAP desirable)
