Introducing an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team as Group Credit Controller.

Job Summary

Ensuring new clients have been credit checked prior to setting them up Setting up new client AR Numbers Completing new supplier forms Obtaining client pledges Communicating with clients to ensure prompt payment Raising back-to-back invoices Raising new invoices when any Commercial Controller is off work Ensuring the correct procedure is followed prior to raising any Credit Notes Escalating problem payers to job managers Processing the Incoming Payments - Receipts Clearing Unallocated cash Upload invoices on to client portals Assist with External Audit Preparing new reports using Sharperlight XL Assist Financial Controller with all other duties Support the Group Senior Accountant with ad hoc queries

Develop collaborative relationships with job managers in the business to ensure procedures are adhered to Has interpersonal, negotiating, numerical, self -organisation, planning and control skills Team player Ambition and desire to progress within an organisation Proactive approach to debt recovery Operate to deadlines Prioritise workload Assist in planning the monthly accounting cycle Able to use Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level Working knowledge of Workbench (training to be provided) Experience of accounting in an operational finance team Experience of SAP Business One (training to be provided)
