You will be responsible for delivering a variety of group fitness sessions, guiding participants on proper technique, and creating a motivating environment that encourages everyone to achieve their goals. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for fitness, and the ability to adapt routines for different fitness levels.
Duties:
Lead dynamic group exercise classes (e.g., cardio, strength, functional training, or specialty formats depending on qualifications)
Plan and deliver engaging workout routines that are safe, effective, and suitable for mixed-ability groups
Demonstrate exercises clearly and provide verbal and physical cues for correct technique
Offer modifications and progressions to accommodate varying fitness levels and abilities
Motivate and inspire participants through positive reinforcement and encouragement
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming class environment with equipment set up and stored properly
Stay informed about current fitness trends and techniques to continually enhance class quality
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Group Exercise Instructor preferred
Recognised fitness qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Exercise to Music, Group Training, or equivalent)
Solid knowledge of exercise principles, anatomy, and safe training practices
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate groups
Passion for fitness and commitment to supporting others on their health journey
Reliable, punctual, and professional in both appearance and delivery.
