This position is for an initial contract term, with potential to transition to a permanent role.




The Role:

Exceptional opportunity for a Group Financial Controller. The role has responsibility to consolidate financial information across Bridge Carbon entities, and to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and consolidated financial reports. The role will report to the Chief Financial Officer who is based in London.




Key responsibilities

include:



Consolidate financial information across global entities, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and consolidated financial reports. Carry out the consolidation of UK entity. Oversight of financial policies and procedures across the group. Implement and standardize accounting practices, financial controls, and reporting requirements to ensure consistency, transparency, and compliance across all entities. Ensure accurate monthly financial reporting and ledger closing for all companies. Audit relationship management, assist management and auditors with audits.

Tax accounting and international tax accounting processes across jurisdictions. Post monthly accrual journals to reflect accrued costs. Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for accruals and prepayments for monthly review with the group financial accountant.

Prepare and review weekly revenue forecast. Prepare monthly group sales and group creditors analysis

Review and approve Purchase Orders.

Develop and present management information reports

Assist in preparation of annual overhead budget.

Assist with migration to new Netsuite.

Preparing the PI insurance documents.

Support the CFO with ad hoc queries.



Requirements:




University degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 10 years' experience.

Expert knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting standards and consolidations. Must have prior experience applying advanced accounting and reporting concepts to include acquisition and mergers, revenue and cost recognition, consolidation, intangibles.

Must have experience working with complex accounting and reporting situations.

Must have international entity accounts consolidation experience. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or other financial certifications preferred.

Location:

This is a remote/hybrid position. Candidate must be based in the UK. Bridge Carbon has offices in London.
