Group Financial Controller

Job Description
We are a locally owned and managed service business recruiting a commercially focussed Financial Controller to lead our finance function.
The role is focused on delivering accurate company accounts and financial information, ensuring compliance across tax and international reporting.
Key duties include:
Preparation of monthly financial accounts, including P&L review and analysis and the preparation of group consolidated financial accounts Monitoring project costs, revenue recognition, and margin performance Maintaining accounting systems International financial reporting (including Netherlands and Norway) Tax compliance (VAT, Income, Corporation, International) Cash management Management of company insurance policies Developing and implementing improvements to reporting, accounting procedures, processes and controls for the accounts function
This role would suit a candidate who is motivated to progress to a senior level within a SME and is open to candidates who are professionally qualified.
The position is based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.
Candidates must also have a willingness to travel ad hoc to Den Helder, Netherlands.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
