Torfaen County Borough Council is seeking a dynamic and strategic Group Leader for Waste and Recycling. This is a key role, responsible for waste and recycling operations and infrastructure, ensuring robust health and safety and asset management, and supporting the Council's climate and environmental goals. We are looking for a proactive leader with experience in waste management, infrastructure, and asset management, who can drive service improvement and deliver strategic change.

You will have a proven ability to lead and develop teams, experience in strategic planning and project management, a strong understanding of relevant legislation, health and safety, and compliance, as well as excellent communication and partnership-building skills. You will join a forward-thinking team, with opportunities to shape the future of waste and recycling in Torfaen.
