Torfaen County Borough Council is seeking a dynamic and strategic Group Leader for Waste and Recycling. This is a key role, responsible for the operation and improvement of Torfaen's waste transfer stations and Household Recycling Centre, ensuring robust health and safety and asset management, and supporting the Council's climate and environmental goals. We are looking for a proactive leader with experience in waste management, infrastructure, and asset management, who can drive service improvement and deliver strategic change.
You will have a proven ability to lead and develop teams, experience in strategic planning and project management, a strong understanding of relevant legislation, health and safety, and compliance, as well as excellent communication and partnership-building skills. You will join a forward-thinking team, with opportunities to shape the future of waste and recycling in Torfaen.
