This is a full-time role based at our Group office in Bristol, with regular travel to our sites across the UK.
We're a hands-on, real-world kind of business -- creative collaboration, site visits, and face-to-face energy are a big part of how we work. This role isn't remote or hybrid, so you'll need to be ready to be on the ground, in the mix, and part of the day-to-day buzz.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Events
Oversee and drive group-wide room, F&B; and event sales, including packages, private hire, and local partnerships.
Respond to event enquiries directly or manage others doing so - ensuring timely, engaging, on-brand communication.
Create compelling offers and promotions in line with seasonal and demand patterns across each site.
Build relationships with local businesses, repeat guests, agencies and wedding/event planners.
Ensure accurate, visually appealing and up-to-date listings on all OTA, event and venue platforms.
Provide on-the-ground presence and leadership at key events or first-time launches (e.g. weddings, garden parties) to ensure smooth execution and strong guest experience.
Collaborate with food and beverage teams on event and menu strategy - ensuring price points, packages and offerings align with seasonality, guest expectations and brand positioning.
Collaborate with the founder to shape and grow our events and private hire strategy, balancing revenue-generating hires with a curated programme of community-driven events - including live music, DJs, feast nights, garden BBQs, micro-festivals, art clubs, book launches and more.
Help establish each location (especially Bristol) as a local hub - hosting regular, engaging, on-brand gatherings that build awareness, loyalty and a sense of belonging.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing & Brand
Own and execute the marketing calendar: seasonal campaigns, launches, press, influencer collaborations, key dates.
Manage all marketing channels: email, web, print, PR, organic social, digital ads - supported by creatives and contractors as needed.
Collaborate with freelance creatives or designers as needed to develop visual assets, stories and campaigns that align with our tone and identity.
Shape and refine our evolving brand: tone of voice, design, storytelling, guest experience and positioning.
Key Responsibilities: Revenue & Digital
Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and seasonal shifts to drive dynamic pricing strategies, including last-minute rate management and commission structures.
Collaborate with the owner and site managers to drive direct bookings, optimise Elina PMS usage and improve website journeys.
Oversee the reservations process and systems across the group, working to simplify and streamline guest journeys (e.g. 'one-click' booking flow, online event reservations, clear phone lines) to reduce labour and free up site teams to focus on guest service.
Support training initiatives across the group in upselling, phrasing, and ordering of service that maximises bookings and guest spend.
Review product mix, guest purchasing behaviour, and campaign performance to influence menus, promotions and stock strategies.
Collaborate on menus, pricing and product offerings across the group to ensure they're exciting, aligned with our identity, and commercially smart.
Monitor Google Analytics, email performance and booking conversion across all platforms.
Manage and maintain Elina special offers, listing content, packages and availability.
Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Growth
Collaborate with the founder and operations leads to shape the business plan and future site launches or refurbishments.
Support development of revenue targets and fun site-level initiatives to energise and reward teams (e.g. team sales incentives and gamified promotions).
Develop loyalty, email capture, upsell and return guest initiatives.
Measure and report on KPIs across sales, marketing and events - including monthly highlights and recommendations.
Contribute to a positive, healthy and motivating culture across the group by championing Artist Residence's values of family, fun, creativity and warmth -- helping to foster connected, inspired and high-performing teams.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Increase in direct bookings(YoY % growth, improved channel mix)
Uplift in event and F&B; revenue,with cost controls in place to protect margins
Marketing campaign performance (email CTR, conversion rates, web traffic, social engagement)
OTA listing score and visibility improvements
Return on investmentof campaigns, promotions and content spend
Growth in CRM / email subscriber database and repeat guest engagement

Who you are:
A commercially-savvy marketer and communicator with excellent writing skills and creative flair.
Confident with marketing platforms - email marketing, website CMS, Google Analytics, PMS tools, Meta Ads and more.
Structured and data-driven - but also warm, passionate and unpretentious in your approach.

Based within commutable distance of Bristol and able to travel across our sites as needed.
