Role Overview

We are recruiting a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse operations including loading groupage consignments onto rigid vehicles, goods in/out, stock control, order picking and forklift operations. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, safety awareness and a positive team attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently (Counterbalance essential; Pivot Steer desirable) Load and unload trailers, containers and rigid vehicles Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders Conduct stock checks, cycle counts and inventory accuracy tasks Scan and record goods using warehouse management systems (WMS) Follow safe operating procedures and adhere to health & safety guidelines Assist with general warehouse housekeeping duties Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily KPIs Liaise with transport and customs teams when required

Essential Criteria

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (B1) Previous warehouse experience Confident operating material handling equipment Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards Experience using scanners/WMS Good level of physical fitness for manual handling Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work Good communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Criteria

Pivot Steer (Bendi/Flexi) Forklift Licence Experience in fast-paced warehouse environments Knowledge of stock management and logistics processes Experience working in a 3PL warehouse environment
