Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock control. Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Create and implement innovative drink menus and special promotions to enhance customer experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff on food preparation and production to ensure quality offerings. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with company standards.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to hospitality excellence. Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate staff to achieve high performance. Background in kitchen operations or hotel experience is advantageous. Barista experience is a plus, enhancing our beverage offerings for guests.
