Job Summary:





To lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategic growth plans for the Cyber Risks team, aligning with the Beazley's overall vision and business goals. To deliver and execute the annual business plan.



To develop and implement strategic sales initiatives across all platforms to achieve growth and profitability objectives across all market segments. Provide technical expertise in this business area and maintain and improve the market reputation of the Beazley brand.



The Growth Leader will have responsibility for all growth initiatives within Cyber Risks globally.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Growth



Responsibility for growth in new business of the all platforms (North America, London Wholesale and Europe), including sales planning and new business targets. Develop and implement business strategies for the team in agreement with the Group Head of Cyber Risks, the Head of International, Head of North America and the Head of London Wholesale. Work closely with department heads to deliver the global growth objectives under the Cyber Risks divisional strategy. Plan, direct, co-ordinate and lead the teams to achieve business objectives and target profitability. Lead in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and risks within the Cyber insurance landscape; utilise this information to develop tailored sales and growth strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, brokers, and internal and external key stakeholders. Collaborate with other Beazley divisions to identify and pursue new cross-selling opportunities for the Cyber Risks division. Work closely with the Underwriting Management and Wordings teams to suggest appropriate changes to the existing Cyber insurance offerings to help creating new, innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the market and maximise sales and profitability. Monitor the portfolio and take corrective measures if necessary to ensure long-term profitability. Ensure that own and team activities comply with all relevant company, regulatory and legal requirements. Deliver team responsibilities and projects as delegated by the Group Head of Cyber Risks.

Underwriting



Contribute to the development of a profitable global portfolio as part of the Cyber Risks team. Structure tailor-made solutions by considering the team underwriting parameters and underwriting policy and using underwriting knowledge and experience to win new business and increase retention of existing. Monitor premiums, costs and claims ratios per contract and work closely with underwriting management to take corrective measures if necessary to ensure long term profitability at account and portfolio level. Evaluate appropriate and innovative solutions for risk premium transfer by considering the risk costs, reinsurance cessions, capital exposure as well as the underwriting and general administration costs to ensure profitability growth. Comply with Beazley's underwriting control standards for business written through Lloyd's, Beazley's global subsidiaries and/or Beazley's internal MGAs. Develop a good working relationship with Claims Managers and Cyber Services for this class of business and create a strategy with them as a key component of growth initiatives / sales pitches.

Client Management



Advise, assist and service clients on insurance and risk matters to ensure clients' satisfaction. Foster positive relationships with clients to get a mutual understanding of both their and Beazley's needs. Development and maintenance of good business relationships with brokers. Maintain awareness of overall Beazley product range and take advantages of opportunities to introduce other Beazley products to clients.

General



Leverage networking opportunities within the business to develop standardised underwriting policy and best practice within Beazley. Develop best practice and disseminate business and class knowledge within the Cyber Risks team. Work with peers within Cyber Risks to maximise business opportunities and profitability within the department. This will include but not be limited to sharing market information, marketing sources and cross selling opportunities. Share and gather knowledge within the Beazley Group to ensure dissemination of best practice and maximise business opportunities and profitability within the Group. Production of presentations and marketing literature as required.

Carry out additional responsibilities as individually notified, either through your objectives or through the learning management system. These may include membership of any Beazley committees or working groups.
