This is a dynamic role combining business development and digital marketing responsibilities. The Growth & Marketing Executive will play a key role in driving business growth by supporting broker relationships, promoting Broker Direct's products and services, and increasing brand visibility through marketing campaigns, communications, and social media. The role requires a proactive, organised individual who is confident communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
Maintain and grow relationships with broker partners via phone, email, and occasional face-to-face meetings.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and follow-up.
Keep detailed records of broker contact and sales activity using internal systems.
Provide insights and analysis on broker feedback, market trends, and competitor activity.
Assist with the promotion and roll-out of new products and services.
Produce reports and performance dashboards on campaign success and broker engagement.
Marketing & Communications
Support the design and execution of marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.
Create, proofread and distribute content across digital platforms - including newsletters, emails, website updates and social media.
Maintain the company's online presence and social media activity, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
Help develop marketing materials and coordinate with designers, printers, and third-party suppliers.
Promote events and exhibitions and assist in their organisation and delivery.
Collaborate across departments to support internal communications and brand development.
Research & Analysis .
Carry out market and competitor research to support strategy and content development.
Use engagement data and campaign analytics to improve marketing effectiveness.
Maintain and update broker databases for targeted communications and campaigns.
Key Attributes and Skills:
Executive Strong communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal.
Proactive and self-motivated with a "can do" attitude.
Highly organised with great attention to detail.
Confident with data, reporting and using marketing tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Creative thinker with a flair for marketing and storytelling.
Comfortable working with targets and KPIs.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ideally 1+ years in a business development communications, or marketing role.
Knowledge of the UK insurance broker market is desirable.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, WordPress, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or design tools isa bonus.
Minimum A-Level education (or equivalent); a marketing or business-related qualification is a plus.
Willingness to undertake further professional training and qualifications.
