The Role
As our
Guest Experience Assistant
, you'll support our Guest Experience Manager in both guest-facing and behind-the-scenes tasks. You'll help ensure our properties are beautifully presented and maintained, fully stocked, and running smoothly before and during guest stays.
This role is ideal for someone friendly, proactive, and hands-on -- with the potential to tailor responsibilities to your strengths (e.g., gardening, social media, or light maintenance).
Key Responsibilities
Carry out property readiness checks prior to arrivals
Complete health & safety checks and maintain accurate records
Assist with interior upkeep and light garden maintenance (e.g., laundering soft furnishings, small decor updates, basic repairs)
Monitor, replenish and organise consumables and supplies
Conduct regular inventory checks (crockery, cutlery, linen, glassware, etc.)
Support guest communications, including occasional meet-and-greet duties
Be available for pre-agreed on-call guest support for up to two stays per month
Work with the Guest Experience Manager to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
(Optional depending on your skills) Assist with social media content, seasonal decor, project work, or more hands-on property tasks
About You
Warm, calm and reliable with strong people skills
A natural problem-solver who can think on their feet, with great attention to detail
Comfortable with general household or garden maintenance
Experience in hospitality, customer service, property management or similar is beneficial
Competent using technology
Someone who takes pride in presentation and enjoys creating welcoming spaces
