Guest Experience Coordinator - Field Sports

is one of the most important roles within the estate. Their organisational skills, creativity, quick thinking, and thoughtful handling of the varied aspects of a members' experience is vital for the varied high-quality sporting experiences offered and the overall feel of the Club and to each person's time on property. Our guests return for authentic, well-managed field sports in an unforgettable natural setting each time creating unique memories lasting a lifetime



This role supports a framework adding surprises and unique events for our guests; working closely with each department to drive experience-driven operations with creative handling; and developing genuine relationships with prospects, Member families and their guests.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual with a strong background in field sports. To lead and deliver outstanding sporting and hospitality experiences. This role involves a direct mix of guest liaison, shotgun instruction and coordination, and general estate hosting. It requires a confident communicator who can deliver safe and enjoyable experiences in line with best practice and estate tradition.



Welcoming guests to the estate and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the stay. Acting as the main point of contact for sporting guests before, during, and after their visit. Planning and managing bespoke itineraries including shooting, stalking, and countryside experiences.



Delivering professional, safe, and engaging shotgun coaching sessions for guests of varying skill levels. Taking the lead in clay pigeon shooting and warm-up sessions ahead of events. Assisting with driving and walking days, including briefing guns, allocating pegs, and ensuring the safety of everyone involved.



Organising and coordinating guest transport, kit logistics including preparing and managing supplies such as cartridges, safety gear and radios. Maintaining each piece of equipment, ensuring compliance with UK firearms regulations. Keeping accurate records and offering assistance with and taking a genuine interest in each booking and the reporting systems.



Working alongside the rest of the Glenlyon team and our member services team you will coordinate events with housekeeping and culinary to plan/execute activations and events (from transportation to the event to the final goodbyes) and layer details (special touches, extra attention to small elements, overall vibe, and cohesiveness of the experience). Sharing information and collaborating closely with keepers, ghillies, beaters, and other estate staff to ensure seamless operations.



You'll develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the local area and Scotland for inspiration in creating customised experiences, events, and excursions.

In this role you will benefit from previous experience in field sports and event hosting; in either a member and/ or guest facing role. Together with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and effective time management. You will be a natural organiser with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, used to hosting professional events with a warm and welcoming manner.



Good physical fitness and a willingness to work outdoors in all conditions. Comfortable working alone or as part of a small team with the ability to work at various locations.



A valid UK Driving license is essential. A valid shotgun certificate with a BASC or equivalent coaching qualification is essential. Private estate experience in deer stalking or fishing guidance providing personalised experiences and creating authentic connections with members would be a distinct advantage.
