Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact for our patrons, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover Maintain an organized waiting list during peak hours, ensuring timely seating Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations and addressing inquiries Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow Assist with guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly Uphold cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area

Qualifications

Previous host/host or food service experience is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous Ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy Strong organizational skills and attention to detail A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
