We're looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Team Member to join our dedicated and friendly team. This is a varied and hands-on-role, ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction, administrative support and practical day to day tasks that help the business run smoothly.
As a valued part of the Barefoot Retreats team you'll contribute across departments, from supporting reservations and communicating with owners, to assisting with operations, deliveries and property management, always upholding the high standards our brand is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to homeowners and customers via phone, email and in person
Assist with processing bookings, payments and guest correspondence.
Keep up to date with market trends, particularly in the staycation and luxury holiday sectors.
Report to the Department Manager regarding any issues or opportunities requiring further action.
Liaise with homeowners to ensure their properties are well-presented and guest-ready.
Maintain accurate records and assist with office administration.
Stay informed about our property portfolio, market trends and company updates.
Work collaboratively across departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Take initiative in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency or enhance the guest experience.
Contribute to sales and marketing efforts when needed.
Represent the Barefoot Retreats brand with professionalism, care and attention to detail at all times.
Be a flexible and positive team player, willing to assist wherever needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide emergency phone coverage as part of a scheduled rota.
Skills & Experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office and general administrative software.
Knowledge of Super Control is advantageous but not essential (training will be provided).
Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service or tourism preferred.
A team player with a "can-do" attitude.
Ability to work independently and problem-solving effectively.
Full UK driving licence required.
