JOB SUMMARY





The Rudding Park team's core purpose is to create timeless memories and instinctive care in exceptional spaces.



As a Guest Service Ambassador at Rudding Park, you will be the face of our hotel, delivering an exceptional and personalised welcome to every guest. You will ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience while anticipating guests needs and consistently exceeding expectations. Your warmth, professionalism and attention to detail will help create unforgettable stays in line with all our core values and service expectations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




Greet all guests warmly and professionally on arrival, ensuring a seamless check-in process Provide knowledgeable and bespoke information about hotel facilities, spa offerings, dining options, and local attractions Handle guest requests efficiently, whether in person, by phone, or electronically, ensuring timely follow-up and satisfaction Carry out services for our guests that have been pre booked Liaise with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Concierge, Spa, F&B) to coordinate guest services and resolve issues promptly Promote upgrades, special experiences, and offers where appropriate, enhancing the guest journey Maintain an immaculate front-of-house environment and professional appearance at all times Support the wider front-of-house team with concierge duties, luggage handling, and valet service, doorman duties as and when required Uphold Rudding Park's brand values and service standards at all times Handle and settle challenges from guests in house Handle and settle challenges from guest feedback post stay Record all guest feedback following in house procedure Attend relevant weekly meetings with all relevant information Interact with guests on a regular basis throughout their stay, obtain feedback on quality, products, service levels and over all overall satisfaction Maintain high visibility in the hotel at all times Review guest feedback, monitor and manage all forms of guest feedback Regular walk rounds of the resort internally and externally to check on cleanliness, be visible to our guests and teams and offer assistance when required Assist guests with luggage and ensure the luggage arrives in guests bedrooms in a timely manner, ensure guests luggage is stored efficiently when required Collect guests luggage from rooms on the day of guest departure ensuring it is loaded into the guests cars in a timely manner Show our guests to their bedrooms and explain all room and offerings Valet park and retrieve guests cars as and when required Meet and greet guests in the car park, welcoming them outside Provide support to other resort outlets during busy periods Be responsible for knowing what is going on in the business day ensuring you are aware of what guests are coming in, what events are taking place Be responsible for Health and Safety as an individual and also to work colleagues, guests and the business, reporting concerns through the Health and Safety processes and procedures. Ensure continuous professional development of self, including attending required training courses and seeking means of developing within the business Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and guest care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable Respect colleagues and the working environment at all times. Ensure high standard of dress and self-presentation within the working environment Undertake any other duties commensurate within the position for which you are qualified.
