Responsibilities

Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Provide information about the hotel's services, amenities, and local attractions. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of guest bookings and transactions. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the reception area. Assist with phone reservations and inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Promote hotel services and upsell where appropriate to enhance guest experiences.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly desirable. Strong guest service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an advantage, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Excellent phone etiquette, ensuring professional interactions with guests over the phone. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
