Guest Services Assistant

to join our busy Operations team. You'll be working in our beautiful property located in the heart of Glasgow.

As our

Guest Services Assistant

will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome - Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes - Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner - Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions - Make reservations for guests and assist with room assignments - Process payments and maintain accurate records - Ensure the lobby area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times - Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction - Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations Requirements: - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests - Multilingual abilities are a plus (e.g., fluency in English and another language) - Proficient in using computer systems and software applications - Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly - Professional appearance and demeanour - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays If you are passionate about providing exceptional guest service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply for the position of Guest Service Agent. This is on a 7.5 hour shift basis, 5 days a week, either 9am to 5pm or 1pm to 9pm, including (most, but not all) weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.22 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
