GUIDANCE LEADER - CAVENDISH SCHOOL - SECONDARY PHASE

37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Term Time only (incl INSET days) plus 1 extra week in the school holidays

Single Status Grade 6 Points 14 - 16

Salary Range: 25,993 - 26,835 pro rata

Actual Pay: 23,031 - 23,777

Start date: 01 September 2025

Closing date: 9am Monday 30 June 2025

We are looking to appoint a Guidance Leader in our Secondary Phase of our All-through school.


The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, committed professional who has a positive attitude to ensure the effectiveness and impact of the Pastoral Team.



Main duties include;


attached as a guidance leader for a year group to support the Head of Year assisting the designated safeguarding lead (secondary phase) providing excellent team leader skills to manage a team demonstrating excellent communication and negotiation skills required for working with pupils, staff, parents and external agencies. have the ability to engage and understand of the needs of young people within the school
