Summary

Work Opportunity: Gujarati Cuisine Chef

RS Worldwide is seeking an experienced Chef to prepare authentic, strictly vegetarian Gujarati meals (no onion, no garlic) at one of our client properties.

Responsibilities:

Prepare traditional Gujarati vegetarian dishes adhering to dietary restrictions (no onion, garlic, or eggs).

Breakfast Menu: Hash browns, baked beans, egg-free croissants, one Indian dish, fresh fruits, toast, yogurt, masala tea, and beverages.

Dinner Buffet: Green Khichdi, potato-aubergine shaak (with gravy), kadhi, and naan bread.

Ensure high standards of hygiene, taste, and presentation.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Gujarati/Jain vegetarian cooking (no onion/garlic).

Knowledge of ingredient checks to avoid prohibited items (e.g., onion powder in packaged foods).

Ability to handle large-scale buffet service efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Excellent culinary skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
