We are seeking a talented and passionate Indian Cuisine Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background, demonstrating exceptional skills in food preparation and safety, while also showcasing leadership qualities to supervise kitchen staff. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a diverse range of Indian dishes, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant standards.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Experience
Proven at least 5 years of experience as a Indian Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, food safety practices and hygien.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
