Job Description
Gun Room staff required for Livens LTD. We are a family run shooting sporting goods store in Burton-On-Trent. We are an expanding business and are looking for a new team member to join us in our gunroom. The post is a full time roll working 5 days a week (Monday Tuesday Wednesday Friday Saturday). Roles and responsibilities:
Customer Service: providing excellent customer service and building positive customer relationships, both face-to-face and via phone. You will also handle email enquiries. Sales: You will be expected to handle in store sales handling transactions and processing payments both face to face and over the phone. Online orders: packaging items, use of the royal mail system and how to use parcel force. Assist with stock management: organizing the gunroom including re-ordering stock when needed. Gun Register: maintain accurate records on the gun register. Gunroom duties - This may include the booking in/ out of firearms, setting up a rifle with a scope and filling air rifles.
Requirements & Skills:
Passion for Shooting Sports. Knowledge of/ willingness to learn about firearms is essential. Good communication, interpersonal and Organizational Skills Previous retail experience is preferable. Technology skills. Being able to send emails and use computer software systems. Ability to work independently and with initiative.
