Team Lead

to oversee and support our team of Installation Technicians. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical expertise with people management. The ideal candidate will lead by example--ensuring top-quality installations while fostering a supportive, productive, and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of technicians during on-site installations of gym equipment across the UK. Ensure all installations are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Act as the main point of contact on-site, coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Provide hands-on support with installations and problem-solving when needed. Train, mentor, and support new technicians, fostering skill development and teamwork. Perform final quality checks and sign off installations to client satisfaction. Manage job site logistics, equipment, and documentation. Represent the company professionally at all times and maintain a high level of customer service. Report project updates and issues to management in a timely manner. Manage overnight jobs and plan efficient travel and team schedules.

What We're Looking For

Prior experience in equipment installation, construction, or similar hands-on field. Proven ability to lead a small team effectively. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-quality work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. A problem-solver with the ability to adapt quickly and think on your feet. Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment. Full UK driving licence required. Experience driving Luton vans or similar vehicles is highly desirable. Willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required.

Job Type:

Full-time

Salary:

28,000.00-35,000.00 per year (depending on experience and responsibilities)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (with occasional early starts or later finishes as required) Overnight travel as needed (costs covered)
