Gym Sales & Operations Manager

Location:

Level Up Gym, Southport

Salary:

25,000 - 30,000 (depending on experience) + performance bonus

Hours:

Full-time (mainly 12pm-10pm; weekend shifts between 7am-8pm)

Level Up Gym is Southport's most exciting fitness community -- home to group training, functional fitness, Hyrox-style workouts and a buzzing community atmosphere. We're growing fast and looking for a driven and proactive Gym Sales & Operations Manager to help us take things to the next level.

The Role

This is a hands-on role where you'll be at the heart of the gym's success -- combining sales, marketing, and member experience with day-to-day operations. You'll work closely with the management and marketing team to drive membership growth, build strong relationships, and ensure every member has a world-class experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively

follow up on leads and people of interest

-- turning enquiries into memberships. Work with the marketing team to

create and run campaigns

that grow membership and class participation. Deliver a

first-class customer onboarding and member journey

-- from first contact to long-term retention. Keep

retention high

by building strong relationships and ensuring members feel valued. Create

competitions, events, and community initiatives

that strengthen our gym culture. Take ownership of the

gym software system (Virtuagym)

and ensure it's used effectively to manage members and track performance. Handle

membership queries and admin

with professionalism and care. Maintain

cleanliness and presentation

standards on the gym floor and front desk. Support the small, close-knit team in all aspects of running the gym.

About You

Driven, proactive, and passionate about the fitness industry. Confident communicator who loves engaging with people. Organised and detail-focused with a customer-first mindset. Comfortable working in a hands-on environment -- from desk duties to community engagement. Previous experience in a

gym, health club, or sales-focused customer service role

is an advantage.
