We are seeking a passionate, organised, and experienced Gymnastics Manager & Coach to lead our gymnastics programme. This dual role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the gymnastics department while also coaching classes across a range of ages and abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics coaching and programme coordination, with a commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for all participants.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily running of the gymnastics programme
Create and manage class timetables, staff rotas, and athlete groupings
Lead, support, and supervise the coaching team to maintain high standards
Liaise with parents, staff, and management to ensure effective communication
Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and club policies are followed
Maintain and monitor equipment and ensure the facility is kept in excellent condition
Plan and coordinate events such as club competitions, displays, and holiday camps
Handle enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
Coaching Duties
Deliver high-quality gymnastics sessions to recreational and/or competitive gymnasts
Develop structured lesson plans tailored to gymnast age and ability
Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and safe spotting techniques
Monitor and track gymnast progress and provide regular feedback
Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive class environment
Support athletes during events, competitions, and assessments as required
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience coaching gymnastics (recreational or competitive)
Experience in a leadership or management role within a gymnastics or sports setting
British Gymnastics coaching qualification (Level 1 or above preferred)
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Current First Aid and Safeguarding certification (or willingness to obtain)
